Sheila Langeslay

LPC

Sheila understands that life can bring seasons of change that leave us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure of what comes next. Whether someone is adjusting to a major life transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, experiencing grief and loss, or dealing with the impact of substance use, Sheila strives to provide a compassionate space where clients can better understand themselves and begin moving forward.

Sheila primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through this process, she helps clients identify patterns that may be contributing to their current struggles while developing practical skills for responding to challenges in healthier and more effective ways.

Clients can expect Sheila to be empathetic, encouraging, and compassionate. She believes therapy is not simply about getting through a difficult situation, but also about developing a greater understanding of yourself along the way. Her goal is for clients to leave therapy with increased self-awareness and practical skills they can continue using as they navigate life’s challenges.
