Destini Jordan

LPC-Associate
Supervised by Ceselie Tobin, LPC-S

Destini is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate who has gained over a year and a half of clinical experience through supervised internships in both school and community settings. She enjoys working with pre-teens, teens, and adults, and uses a combination of person-centered, trauma-informed, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches to support her clients.

Destini is known for her warm, authentic presence and her commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. She believes that meaningful change begins with feeling heard and understood, and she works collaboratively with clients to explore experiences and emotions that may be creating barriers in their lives. Her goal is to meet clients where they are and help them develop insight, resilience, and practical tools for growth.

Destini earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at Tyler. She is a member of Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for counseling professionals. In addition, she is involved with the organization I Am Beautiful, which focuses on helping young women build self-esteem and confidence.
