Dr. Recio-Swift is a Provisionally Licensed Psychologist with a background in school psychology and 4 years of experience working in mental health. She is bilingual and enjoys working with the Latinx community, families, children, teens, and adults. She primarily provides psychological evaluations, but when she does see clients for therapy, she generally prefers Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Dr. Recio-Swift is open, empathetic, and invested in helping clients meet their goals. She works to help clients gain a better understanding of themselves and provide tools to help them be more successful. Her thorough and insightful evaluations can provide a clear understanding of a client’s current challenges and strengths.

After graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, she later received a Master of Arts and Ph.D. in School Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is a member of the Texas Association of School Psychologists. Her professional interests include child and adolescent mental health, neuropsychology, and school psychology.
